Types of cabins in Air India flights
Air India operates four types of cabin classes for international flights and two cabin classes for domestic flights. The cabin classes can differ according to routes and aircraft type.
First class (international flights only)
Our first-class cabin, reserved only for 12 guests, offers a beautiful experience in the sky. Economy class (international and domestic flights)

How to web check-in for the upcoming domestic flight?
Follow these steps to save your valuable time and secure your preferred seats by completing a web check-in for your Air India flights,
Step 1 - Complete your web check-in here
Step 2 - Enter booking reference number and guest's last name
Step 3 - Select number of guests and your preferred seats
Step 4 - Make payments, if required, to complete the check-in process
Step 5 - Check your email or SMS for a boarding pass.
Note: Guests can check in 48 hours in advance and up to two hours before departure at the airport. The web check-in service is available up to two hours before departure for international and up to one hour for domestic flights.
When is the best time to book air tickets with Air India?
International flight tickets can be purchased 361 days in advance, while for domestic flights, you can make bookings until two hours before departure. Furthermore, business class travellers can choose between 'web special' business and 'super value' business class, while for economy class, you can choose from 'super value', 'flexi saver' and 'flexible' economy at the time of booking to select the offer that suits your requirements.
